If you have kids (S = 4 in our case), you are probably familiar with this concept!
Alternate Definition 1: Entropy is a measure of the unavailability of a system's energy to do work.
Kids = LOTS of energy, but not a lot of working getting done...by anyone. We're pretty sure at least half of their energy comes from taking ours!
Alternate Definition 2: Entropy is a measure of the randomness in a system.
